Most of us have lists of things we want to have in our lives and there's the idea that when we get these things we'll be happy. But until something arrives in our lives it's a concept. We don't know if it will actually make our lives better our not.
A lot of times we are just looking for relief. We want to feel better right now. Often we want to feel a jolt right now. We're looking for something that will lift us up for the moment. We're not thinking past that.
The clutter in my clients' lives are often things they acquired to feel better in the moment. When they let this junk go they allow space in their lives. It's an easier way to live.
