Real Value

The things in our life are valuable to us when they contribute to our peace of mind. If something is taking that away, how valuable is that thing? Letting go of things that are distractions and are not contributing to your well being, makes a big difference. Peace of mind is our only real currency. If you have "valuable" things and maintaining them is causing you turmoil, then it's counterfeit. We may have resistance to seeing it that way. That often happens when I work with clients. But after asking questions about its real worth, it becomes apparent what's going on.

Think about the things that provide you joy. Often they are basic. Real satisfaction is simple. Sometimes we can buy into what others tell us that we need. What's important to you? What makes your heart feel content? What is causing continual unrest? You decide what you say yes to, and what you say no to.
