Birthday!

My book, Clutter Busting: Letting Go of What's Holding You Back, is a year old today. What a year it's been. I've met so many amazing people traveling around the country and talking about my book. Then there's all the friendly and courageous people I met through emails.

It's funny that I even wrote this book because I was used to helping people one on one in their homes. When I was with them, I could ask them whether they liked something or could they let it go. But a book is something that could sit on their shelf, or could get buried under their clutter, as clutter books often have the habit of doing. Still I had a very strong feeling that if I wrote a book that was not a step-by-step how to, but instead was a book of things I would say to the person if I was there with them, I felt it could inspire people to let go.

The same goes with this blog. I sit down and type what comes out of my heart. I offer things to do or ways of looking at different clutter situations. The specifics may or may not fit what each person needs. But I hope I'm instilling the desire to be curious and take a look at the things in your living space so you can see what matters to you, and also notice what's in the way.
