A Clutter Play

Person: Hello, Clutter.

Clutter: Hi, Person.

Person: Look, I'm really sorry, but I'm letting you go.

Clutter: Well, why would you want to do that?

Person: Essentially you're making me miserable.

Clutter: What? Are you serious?

Person: I'm afraid so.

Clutter: I'm sorry you feel that way.

Person: It's not your fault. I accidentally hung onto you past the expiration date. I never looked at the date until today.

Clutter: I see. Is there anything I can do to make you change your mind?

Person: No, it's just that you no longer fit my life and this makes things uncomfortable and my hair stand on end.

Clutter: That's dreadful.

Person: I'm glad you see what I mean.

Clutter: What will become of me?

Person: Well, some of you will become recycled. I like to think of it as rejuvenation. Starting fresh.

Clutter: That sounds nice.

Person: And some of you will go where you fit another person's life.

Clutter: That makes me feel happy and cared for!

Person: You see, it's all working out.

Clutter: Yes...Do you think it would be okay if I were to stay for just one more day?

Person: What?!?

Clutter: Just kidding!
