Your Voice

Your voice matters.

Your voice serves you. It tells you what you need. It tells you when something is hurting you and needs to go.

But you can stop hearing your voice amidst all the other voices out there. Some of them are pretty loud and persuasive. When you stop hearing yourself, things accumulate to you like barnacles. You stop seeing the boundaries between yourself and the world, and you suffer.

When you're stuck in your clutter, when you're overwhelmed and uncertain, it means you've temporarily lost touch connection with your voice.

It helps to know that your voice is patiently waiting for you. You can reconnect by picking a small area, and asking your voice of each thing in that area, "Do I like this or can I let it go?" "Do I love this, or not?"

Your voice is there to support you. It loves you because it is you.
