I encourage you to take the goal out of clutter busting. The more you can be with yourself and the thing you are considering in the moment, the more open you can be, and it will be easier for you to make a decision.
I was working with a client recently. She was feeling that she wasn't working fast enough. I said there's no scale in clutter busting. If you are doing it, that's enough.
Chances are we get in our clutter situations because we lose touch with ourselves. We align ourselves with others needs. We consider the rest of the world before ourselves.
But no matter how far we get away from tending to ourselves, we can come back. It feels good to return home.
